Principal
Damian is an experienced commercial and private client lawyer. He has a wealth of
experience having practised in New Zealand, internationally in London and Luxembourg, and in house at the Public Trust. Clients value his practical, commercial and astute advice.
Damian oversees the firm’s estate practise and advises on complex trusts, estates
claims and litigation, and relationship property matters. He can assist with the sale and purchase of businesses, commercial property, forestry and agribusiness matters, construction contracts, franchising, partnerships and business restructures.
In his spare time, Damian plays golf, supports his son’s sporting activities and his wife’s home renovation projects.
Damian is available to meet at either our Wellington or Porirua office.
Damien’s past experience includes:
- Preparing construction contract for a $17 million earthquake strengthening;
- Advising with accountants on the division of a $7 million family business;
- Managing claims against $5 million estates and bringing claims against estates by family members;
- Resolving the complex division of property in relationship separations; and
- Sale of a $35 million forestry block.
